Hehe. Thanks to Carrie for being such an awesome photographer. It was kind of a hassle doing the shoot at night but hey, at least we could use the street as our set minus the occasional cars driving past wondering what we were doing.

This is a norm now. Like some sort of a ritual before I go through some shit. I’m going off to Taiwan with the army for around 3 weeks.

I need to prep myself for going there. I can already foresee myself having a lot of free time. Planning to bring a gazillion worth of TV series on my itouch to keep me entertained. Anyone got any recommendation? Also, I bumped into this book below.

I know recently I’ve been obsessed with the Birkin but this is totally different. I feel that I can relate to the author because we both resell things and it’s interesting how he eventually started reselling Birkin. Can’t wait to read it.

It’s been way, way too long. I’ve been wanting to get those Adidas x Jeremy Scott Wings sneakers since I first set my eyes on them. Thinking that the majority of people would not dare wear such a ‘loud’ shoes. I just camped and wait for it to hit the sales rack or a steal to come on ebay. I’ve been waiting till now!

Luckily God couldn’t communicate and needed a new messenger. He decided to grant my wish and I finally found a shop that has them. Woo hoo!

They will finally see Apple’s latest creation, the iPad. The first batch is finally out. People will get to try it out. Get to find out that it’s a useless piece of marketing scam. I’m sorry but I still can taste the bitterness from the first time I took a bite from the forbidden fruit.

I just tend to remember things clearer if it concerns me getting scammed, played or anything along those things. You just don’t mess with my ego. You just can’t scam a Chinese.

Anyway, back to the iPad. Just a tip for people: Over the years, Apple has taught me never to buy any of their first gen or two products. It’s just not worth it. Wait till they tweaked the shit out to perfection and reduced the pricing so you’re not paying the early adopters’ price.

Since my rant is out, back to the start of my blog.

I realised something about myself.

I tend to hate something first before liking it a lot. I guess this is just how I approach things. I couldn’t believe how true it is. I’m not going to state what as it’s kind of a sensitive topic for me but for those who know me, think about everything that I ever liked a lot, I hated it initially. I didn’t know I was such a hypocrite.

Actually, everyone’s a hypocrite as George Bush said in Harold and Kumar.  (For those that missed it, essentially every motherfucker wants a blowjob but don’t want to give one.)

I still want my louboutins loafers.

I’m trying to sell away most of my stuffs that I bought on impulse but for every shoe sold, I’ll go and buy a few more. I’ve reached the point where I’ve got more shoes in Singapore than Brunei.

It’s weird how my shoe collection started off with mostly basketball sneakers and now, it’s more ‘versatile’ than before. But still not to the point where I would like. I need tassel loafers! boat shoes! wing tips! brogue shoes!

It is really unusual how I rarely even buy basketball shoes anymore. I feel that I’ve evolve. This partly or mostly has to do with me visiting different forums and their WDWYT and lookbooks. For the noobs, it stands for What Did You Wear Today. It’s funny how different forums, the members all dress the certain way. I guess that’s what forums are for, to bring similar sorts of people together.

For an outsider looking in and I get this a lot of times, people question me why am I checking out what other peeps are wearing and they’ll laugh at people for taking pictures of their outfits and posting it online for the world to see. Personally, I haven’t had the urge to post a look but I’ll probably will some time soon once someone hits me with a lookbook invite. (A poorman’s attempt :))

I’m not going to front I visit them to pick out stuffs that I like. I’m sure many people do the same as me. You see something nice and wonder if you can pull it off yourself. I guess this is how I’ve evolve.

My taste has been changing a lot also partly due to the fact that I have a very short attention span. I can never settle with anything for prolong periods. (Maybe only for my current loml. ) I don’t like to settle with things that I already have and I’m always on a lookout for something new which can be a good or a bad trait.

Back to my evolution, if you tell me that this is how I’ll look when I was 14. I wouldn’t even believe it myself. Back then, give me an oversized tee, baggy jeans and jordans and I’m good to go. (Just to clear the air, I wore baggy back then because I didn’t want to limit my growth. )

Actually, I don’t know what I’m talking about. Just had some time to burn and all the WDYWT threads and lookbooks visited, I decided to just post this.

This is what I love about my blog. It just gives me the opportunity to talk about shit that comes straight to my mind. Don’t have to structure it. Won’t have an english teacher complaining about my English.

Ok. That was a lame one. But I can’t help but use it since it’s been streaming on Youtube for quite some time. This is the type of shit you do when you’re bored in camp. The video is not the crazy 10 minutes one which carries the record for the most product placement in a MV. It’s some parody that made me think that I saw Lady Gaga’s nipples. Seriously, CHAD IT OUT. It’s pretty impressive. This video whoops the original one. But I don’t know how can he keep such a straight face while shooting.

Last month brought sadness to me or was it last last month? Me and my last pair of Yeezy parted. Actually, looking back. It’s quite fugly. It’s some fucking bulky and I’m sick of big, bulky high tops. Already wearing my army boots already. But hey, it gave me a profit of $700 so I’m alll goooooood.

Since that I’ve so much free time in camp on a lonely Sunday, I hit me that I’m about to.. ORD LO!! Haha. It’s actually still quite far but.. time seems to be flying by quite fast recently since I’m not suffering as much and shizz. I know, I know. You’ll be asking wtf is the LO at the back of the ORD for. I was wondering the same thing when I first heard it. But apparently it’s supposed to be more emphatic when you say it. Like give it more BANG and BOOM to it in order, for people who are still far from ORD-ing to feel more miserable.

This is just some shit that I’ve learnt and observed from being in Singapore for a year plus plus like 10% service charge and 7% GST. SHAA-BAMM! I’ll be giving you bits and pieces of the good, bad and ugly of my stay in Singapore over the next few weeks. If I gave it all at once, you wouldn’t be able to absorbed them well.

It feels so good to be back. Recently, I just have too much thoughts running around on my mind. I think I’ve got lots of shit that people can relate to. I need a medium for me to express them. This blog is my vessel.
